Plot:
At the beginning of the movie Rio 2, we see Blu and Jewel are living a happy life in Rio de Janeiro with their three children and the friends. Jewel doesn't like the human culture in Blu and the children, but somehow they are getting along.

On an expedition of Tulio and Linda in Amazon rainforest, they find the existence of more birds of Blu's species, which they previously believed, has become extinct. They announce this news on T.V. and decides to continue their journey to find the home of these birds. This announcement instantly make them enemy of an illegal logger group's boss.

The announcement also makes Jewel excited and she pressures Blu to go to Amazon to find their real place on earth. So, Blu's family leaves their home to Amazon to find those birds. Blu takes his travel kits with him, which includes a GPS and other necessary human things. Two of Blu's friends also joins the family in their journey.

Nigel, a villain from the prequel, sees Blu leaving and follows him silently to take his revenge on Blu for the accident which makes him unable to fly anymore. An anteater and a poisonous frog joins him. The poisonous frog is in love with Nigel. Their first attempt to kill Blu fails and finally, Blu's family and Nigel's group reach the Amazon rainforest.

After some searching, Blu and his family finds the home of those birds. There Jewel finds her long lost family. Now Jewel has her father, sister and her childhood friends. Everyone adjusts there very well, everyone except Blu. Jewel's family is against everything related to humans but Blu is very much used to living in the human way.So Blu finds a very hard time adjusting there. Jewel tries to support him and tells him that they are never going to leave this place.

Since childhood, Blu is living with the humans, so he doesn't know how to survive in the jungle. One of his mistakes causes them a fight with their enemy bird group. For Blu's another mistake, those enemy birds win, for which, Jewel's family loses the hold of food of that area. This makes everyone (including Jewel) very disappointed on Ble and Blu becomes deeply depressed.

With his GPS, Blu finds Linda and Tulio, who have already got attacked by the loggers and the logger's have left them to die. Blu learns about the logger's plan to destroy that part of the forest, which also includes Jewel's family's home.

Blu warns the other birds about it. He tries to convince all the birds to fight for their land. By growing up with humans, he know the human techniques and machines and he is confident that he can stop the loggers with the help of the other birds. At the same time, Nigel and his friends plans to launch their final attack to kill Blu.

Can Blu save their home? Do the other birds trust him after all these? Can he get away from Nigel's attack? Lets watch Rio 2 to know the answers.

My review about the movie Rio 2:
First of all, I didn't like Rio 2 much.

The plot of Rio 2 was simple and very predictable. The plot will not give you any thrill at all. Sometimes, it seemed like too many things got congested in a single movie. To me, it didn't disappoint much, because I was not a big fan of its prequel, Rio. Rio 2 may seem enjoyable to children, but should not amuse the elders. We have seen several animated films like the Ice Age series, which seemed enjoyable to elders too.

Rio 2 has a good number of songs in it. Sometimes those felt as a good touch, sometimes not. But this movie badly lacked some humor elements. More humors could make it more pleasant. The animation and the use of colors was brilliant in this movie, and that's the only thing I liked about it. The direction seemed good in Rio 2, but the screenplay seemed weak.

The dialogues of all the characters were okay but nothing extraordinary. They could be prefect if they contained more humor. The character of Blu didn't seem strong enough. The characters of the villain Nigel also didn't seem strong.

So, finally, I didn't enjoy watching Rio 2 much. This movie lacked the trill from its sequel and it seemed as just a very predictable plot is moving forward. Children should love to see all those beautiful birds and other things, but it may not seem enjoyable to the grown ups. This one may seem inferior comparing with its prequel. So, I will not recommend watching Rio 2 to movie fans, even to the animation fans.

But that's just me. How did you like Rio 2? Share with us in the comments.

Trench and Stigman then plans to go to the navy base to bring the money and to inform the seniors about Stigman’s boss’s works. But can they do it? Do the seniors believe them? Can they save Trench’s girlfriend?  Lets watch the movie to know the answers.

My review about the movie 2 Guns:
First of all, I liked 2 Guns.

The plot of 2 Guns was enjoyable. Although the plot didn’t feel completely solid, and you may feel something missing in the plot, but still, you should enjoy it. Its true that the director could include some more interesting events in the plot to make it feel solid, but it seemed good nonetheless. The direction and the screenplay were also beautiful. They are good enough to keep you trilled, attached and entertained for the whole movie till the end.

The casting of 2 Guns seemed perfect and all the artists has played their parts very well. The characters of Danzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg were completely different but they mixed togather beautifully. You won’t be able to complain about any of the other characters too. The dialogues were hillarious and entertaining. The mixture of comedy and thrill has also played out nicely, like the Bad Boys movies.

The music and sound effects of 2 Guns also felt good. The lighting, camera works, costumes and the locations were good too. In the movie, you will see a limited use of special effects, but all of them will seem perfectly matched.

A nude scene and some killing scenes make 2 Guns not appropriate for children.

So, overall, 2 Guns seemed as a good movie. It had a little weak point at its plot, but perfection at every other thing has made it enjoyable. Hopefully, you will have a great time passes by watching 2 Guns. I’ll definitely recommend watching 2 Guns to all movie fans.

The Watch Movie Review

The Watch

It is written by Jared Stern, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and directed by Akiva Schaffer. The main characters of the movie The Watch are played by Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade, Rosemarie DeWitt, Will Forte and Billy Crudup.

A scene from the movie The Watch

Plot:
The Watch starts with showing the life of Evan, who is the senior manager of a local superstore of Glenview, Ohio. One of his colleagues get American citizenship one day and on that very night, gets brutally killed by some strange thing while he was on duty on that superstore.

Evan learns about the murder on the next day when he goes to the office. The police don’t seem much eager to solve the case of the murder. So, on the break of a local popular game, Evan asks the people from the neighborhood to join him in his club that will protect the neighborhood and find the murderer. People also don’t seem eager to his request.

So at the desired day, only three other men come to form the club. One of them was Bob, who is facing problem regarding the relation with his daughter. Then there is Franklin, who wanted to join the local police force and got rejected. The last one is Jamarcus who is recently divorced.

They name their club as The Neighborhood Watch. They make their jerseys, post the flyers with Evan’s number and start patrolling the neighborhood at night. They also have fun among themselves, which annoys Evan. At first, the local people and the police take them as a joke.

But people keep on getting murdered on the neighborhood. One night, while patrolling, Evan hits something with his car. The thing leaves some strange body parts and some green liquid. The Watch also finds a metal ball nearby, which has an extraordinary power to blow up things.
Evan and Bob share their personal life problems with each other. Evan is infertile, but cannot tell it to his wife. Bob urges him that he must admit it to his wife.

One night, following a call from a man who reports unusual noise around his house, The Watch finds an alien. They hit the alien and bring that into Bob’s house. The alien wakes up there and then escapes with the metal ball, but tells them that the aliens are now living among the humans. So The Watch starts to look for aliens disguised as humans.

They suspects Evan’s neighbor as an alien. At one night, they go to that neighbor’s house to investigate. There Bob learns that his daughter is going to a special party. To stop her, Bob leaves with Franklin. That neighbor catches Evan and Jamarcus and he invites them inside. After going there, they find that they are mistaken and then Evan leaves.

When Bob returns, Evan accuses Bob for his disobedience. Bob and Franklin then throw Evan out of The Watch for his autocracy. Evan returns home and admits his condition to wife. His wife accepts it and later helps The Watch. Then Jamarcus comes to Evan’s house.

Next, The Neighborhood Watch meets again in Bob’s house. Jamarcus tells them about the plan of the aliens, that is, the aliens are soon going to invade and destroy the earth. So the fate of mankind is now depending on the actions of The Neighborhood Watch.

My review about the movie The Watch:
First of all, I didn’t like The Watch.

The plot of The Watch was not bad, although it didn’t seem something extraordinary. The idea of comedy with mixture of sci-fi, horror and fantasy seemed innovative. The ending was predictable, but the identity of the alien disguised as human will surprise you. Other than that, there was no interesting twist in the plot. The direction seemed good.

The weakest point of The Watch was the poor screenplay. The screenplay has failed to make this movie interesting or funny at all. From the beginning of the movie, you will understand it as a comedy one (you can also predict it from the casting), but the comedy elements of The Watch were not good at all. The use of humor was not entertaining enough and I doubt that any scene of the whole movie will be able to make you laugh. Just a better humor could make this movie far better. The characters themselves and the interaction between them were good, but character developments of some of the major characters were poor. You may find nothing in The Watch, which may keep you attached to the film. At some parts, it may seem boring.

The casting of The Watch is very good and all the major characters have acted well. The dialogues were good, but they could be funnier. Most of the humor of this movie comes from dialogues, where most of them are adult humor. The make-ups and the costumes were good too, especially the make-ups of the aliens.

The special effects were used at a very minimal level. More use of special effect could make The Watch more interesting. The music, sound effects, lighting, camera works and the set design were also good.

The Watch had excessive use of adult humor, some nude scenes and some gore scenes, which makes it not appropriate for kids.

So, finally, I didn’t enjoy watching The Watch at all. Most likely, it will not be able to satisfy you when you look for comedy, science fiction or horror elements. By seeing a little better than average IMDB rating of 5.7 (while I’m writing this review) may make you think its overrated there. I will not recommend watching The Watch to any movie lover.

In his apartment, Dodge sees her neighborhood girl Penny crying on the fire escape. Dodge brings her inside and learns that she has broke up with her boyfriend and missed a flight, by which, she was supposed to get to her family and to spend her last days with them. Dodge also learns from Penny that his wife was having an affair with someone else.

Penny hands Dodge his letters which were mistakenly delivered to her for last three years. There Dodge finds a letter from Olivia, the love of his his life, which came three months earlier and told him also 'the love of her life'. That night, a riot is going on nearby. Dodge goes to warn Penny and finds her boyfriend with her in her apartment. Three of them tries to escape from there, but only Dodge and Penny manage to run away with a car.

The car was running low on fuel and soon they have to stop. Dodge is mad at Penny for not delivering the letter from Olivia earlier. Then they make a deal, that is, if Penny helps him to find Olivia, he will help her to reach her family.

They go there on the next morning, but Dodge doesn't meet Olivia, just leaves a note for her. Then Dodge and Penny goes to a beach where there are a lot of couples and they enjoy each others company.

That night, they reach Dodge's father's house. Dodge and his father is meeting after a very long time and this meeting takes the bitterness out of them. Later that night, when Penny is sleeping, Dodge takes her to her father's private airplane and asks him to take Penny to her family. Dodge then starts his return journey to his home.

Will Dodge see Penny again before the world ends? Can Penny finally go to her family? Let's watch the movie to find the answers.

My review about Seeking a Friend for the End of the World:

First of all, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World seemed like an average romantic movie.

The plot of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World was good, but predictable for a romantic movie. Although the ending of this movie was predictable, but the whole plot was innovative, not what we regularly see on most romantic movies. But it still felt like it could be better. Their journey could have more interesting stories in it. At some parts, where they were talking, it felt boring. Less dialogues and more actions could make this movie far better than it is. The direction and the screenplay were okay.

The acting of all the major characters were good. The acting skills of Keira Knightley and Steve Carell needs no endorsement and here in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, they have done no misjudgment to their names. Both of them perfectly portrayed the characters they were playing and their performance were outstanding . The dialogues of this movie were also good.

The make ups were good too in this movie. The lighting and the camera effects were also pretty good.

There was no nude/violent scene in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, but it had some scenes with drugs. But overall, I think this movie is safe to watch with kids.

So, finally, i liked watching Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, although, from time to time, it seemed a little boring. If you are a fan of romantic drama movies, this one can be a good one for you. It has a innovative and different plot than other typical romantic movies. But if you are not a big fan of romantic movies, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World may seem more boring to you.

Not Suitable For Children is an Australian romantic comedy drama movie released in 2012. This film is written by Michael Lucas and directed by Peter Templeman. The three main characters of Not Suitable For Children are played by Ryan Kwanten, Sarah Snook and Ryan Corr.

Plot:
Jonah is a guy who lives with his two best friends, Gus and Stevie. They spend a good time partying with their friends. At one party, Jonah finds a lump in his testicle. Next day he visits a doctor and upon diagnosis, they find that Jonah has got testicular cancer. The good news is, the cancer is in very primary stage and Jonah is supposed to get a 100% recovery after the doctors remove his testicle. He can also continue his regular sex life after the operation. But the bad news is, this operation will make him infertile, so he can’t be a father after the operation.

The doctor suggests Jonah to contact a sperm bank who can save his sperms for future. Jonah does so and finishes all the procedures. Then he returns home and informs Gus and Stevie. They have a party on the next Friday and Jonah keeps the date for that party unchanged.

Soon, Jonah receives a call from the sperm bank. After going there, Jonah learns that he has a rare medical condition, for which, his sperms cannot be preserved. So, the only option left for him to become a father is to impregnate a woman before the operation.

Jonah starts his journey to look for the woman who will bear his baby. At first, he meets his ex-girlfriend, who is even irritated by Jonah meeting him. After her rejection, Jonah asks another of his girlfriends, who also rejects to his proposal. Jonah then goes to the doctor and shifts the date of his operation to three weeks later. He continues his search by asking all the women he has dated in his life, but none of them accepts his proposal. Jonah doesn’t say anything about his cancer to any of them.

He then looks at the possibility to adopt a baby. But he learns that he can’t adopt one because he has cancer. Stevie fixes him a meeting with a lesbian couple from her office, but the meeting doesn’t go in favor of Jonah. Stevie then makes arrangement for Jonah to meet another woman from her office who wants to have a child, but that plan also fails.

Jonah becomes frustrated. At one time, when he was discussing the whole thing with Stevie, he said her that he will let the mother of his child live as she wants, will not make any problem with her choice of career, friends or boyfriends. He also says that he will give the house where he is living currently to that lady. Stevie gets interested after hearing these offers. After thinking for a whole day, she agrees to have Jonah’s baby. But before agreeing finally, she makes Jonah read and sign on her written agreements.

Then they start to sneak out at night and go to a cheap hotel to have sex. Being good friends, at first it seems weird to both of them, but soon they overcome this. They have only five days before Jonah’s operation and they waste the first night. They use the next four nights to the fullest. These things also create a stronger and more intimate relation between them.

On the day before Jonah’s operation, Jonah and Stevie have some kind of fight on the morning, where both of them regret their decision of choosing each other. Jonah has a party at his home that night. His ex-girlfriend comes to that party. She somehow learns about Jonah’s situation and this time, she herself offers Jonah to have his child. Jonah feels happy about it and they start to have sex right away, as it is the last night before Jonah’s operation. But Jonah refrains himself at the last moment. Just then, Stevie comes to the party looking for Jonah.

My reviews about Not Suitable For Children:
First of all, Not Suitable For Children seemed as a good romantic drama.

The plot of Not Suitable For Children was good, although it was predictable. Any romantic drama fan can predict the ending. Although it may not go exactly as you can guess (yes, it will not go exactly as everyone’s expectation) but still, the major part of the ending will not surprise you. The good thing about the plot of Not Suitable For Children is, it seems realistic, it’s not filled with too much drama or emotions.

The acting and the makeups of all the major characters in Not Suitable For Children were good. The characters were good looking, specially, Sarah Snook looked stunning. The character of Ryan Kwanten looked a little weird, but I think this is how the director had wanted it to be.

The dialogues and the screenplay of Not Suitable For Children were good. Same can be said about direction. But the comedy elements of this movie may seem inadequate as a proper comedy movie.

There were some nude scenes in Not Suitable For Children. For those scenes and also for the plot, you should not watch it with children.

To me, the basic theme of Not Suitable For Children seemed kind of similar the the movie Friends With Kids. The review of that movie can be found here: Friends With Kids Movie Review.

So, finally, Not Suitable For Children seemed like a pretty good movie. Although I’m not a big fan of romantic movies, but I still enjoyed watching it. I’d recommend watching Not Suitable For Children to all movie lovers.

He kidnaps Bryan and to compensate his wife’s cat’s injury, he asks Bryan to marry his daughter so that she can get the green card. Bryan has no other option other than agreeing. But the gang boss also warns Bryan that his right hand man loves his daughter and wants to marry him, so he will keep an eye on them. Even after the wedding, Bryan cannot touch he gang boss’s daughter, let alone do anything else.

After returning home, Bryan finds his secretary at his apartment trying to seduce him. He does not agree. Bryan also calls his mother asking for advice, but without understanding the whole situation, she forces Bryan to marry the girl.

The gang boss’s right hand man gives Bryan a head start by telling about the girl. Bryan didn’t expect much of that girl, but gets amazed when he finds her as a beautiful lady. From the beginning, they like each other, but only as strangers. But two immigration officers are following her to understand the whole plot.

Soon they get married. In their wedding program, Bryan’s secretary tries to create a scene, but fails. After their wedding, Bryan and his wife goes to a honeymoon trip. To reach that island, they take a helicopter driven by a crazy pilot. On the way, they falls into a storm and finds that most of the helicopter’s equipment are not working. But the crazy pilot somehow manages to take them to the beautiful resort.

Bryan’s wife keeps distance from Bryan according to the whole situation. A waitress at the resort tries to help Bryan so that he can impress his wife. While she was teaching Bryan dancing, his wife sees it and gets upset.

Then the waitress tells Bryan about a beautiful place where he should take his wife to cheer her.  Bryan and his wife visits there. But from there, two men kidnap Bryan’s wife. Bryan comes back to the hotel and to add more complication to the situation, his secretary and the right hand man of the gang boss also arrives at the hotel. The waitress again offers her help and her cousin, the crazy helicopter, pilot takes Bryan, his secretary and the waitress to search Bryan’s wife.

Bryan’s secretary falls for the helicopter pilot and their activities harm the rescue mission. In the meantime, Bryan’s wife escapes from the kidnappers and finally Bryan manages to find her. But they were still being chased by the kidnappers and the right hand man of the mafia boss.

The last part of the movie is about their running away and staying alive, the plot and betrayal about the kidnapping and about Bryan and his wife’s relation.

My reviews about You May Not Kiss the Bride:
To be honest, I didn’t expect much from this movie. At first, You May Not Kiss the Bride seemed to me as just a B grade romantic movie, so I felt strange when Mena Suvari and Rob Schneider appeared on it. But as time passed, You May Not Kiss the Bride became interesting and I ended up liking this movie to a bit.

The plot of You May Not Kiss the Bride is good, perfect for a romantic comedy movie.  There are enough drama to keep you interested throughout the movie. The locations where this movie was shot are also beautiful.

My opinion is, You May Not Kiss the Bride has a great problem with the casting and the script. The director should have appointed a more renowned and strong actor as the gang boss. That character alone could make this movie much mature. Or even keeping him, the director should have made that character’s role stronger. Again, Mena Suvari’s character seemed too immature to tolerate. I know her character here was supposed to be immature, but it was so annoying that it has affected You May Not Kiss the Bride. A more renowned actor as the hero could take this movie much higher. Katharine McPhee looked beautiful in here and her acting was also good.

Dialogues are okay, expect for some characters. The makeup and the camera works were good too.

There are no nude scenes in You May Not Kiss the Bride, so its safe to watch this one with kids.

The ending is a little dramatic but it looked good. Although ending of You May Not Kiss the Bride is not unpredictable for a romantic movie, but I like the way things happened.

My feeling is,You May Not Kiss the Bride had a great potential to be a really beautiful movie, but has failed for the lack of good casting, acting and dialogues.

So overall, I liked You May Not Kiss the Bride  specially when I expected almost nothing from it after seeing the first few minutes. I won’t mark it as a great movie, but still, I’d recommend You May Not Kiss the Bride to all romantic movie lovers. But remember, don’t watch it with high expectations, it will fail to you.
